Paneer Sandwich

For Day 2 Week 1 of BM #38, here is a nutritious sandwich which is typically loved by kids and adults as well. This is very versatile and can be adapted in many ways. The same filling can be used in parathas or rotis or pitas.

Ingredients -

Bread Slices 4-6 (or as needed)
Paneer, Crumbled 1 cup
Onion, chopped 1/2 cup
Tomato, chopped 1/2 cup
Ginger-Garlic Paste 1  tsp (Optional)
Salt, Red Chilli Powder, Garam Masala, Dhania-Jeera Powder, Amchur Powder as per taste
Oil/Butter 2 tsp

Paneer Sandwich

Method Of Preparation -

In a heated pan, add oil and saute onions and ginger-garlic paste until the onions turn translucent.

Add in the tomatoes and salt along with any or all of the spice powders. Mix well and then add the crumbled paneer.

Let the mixture cook for about 3-4 minutes allowing the paneer to absorb all the flavors.

Once the mixture becomes almost dry, remove from fire.

Spread this mixture on two breads slice and top each of them with another slice and toast in a sandwich maker.

Remove and serve them warm with ketchup or any chutney of their choice.
