BM #70 Week 1 Day 2 -

Today's recipe has been in my mind for a while now but when I saw it in Suma's space, I bookmarked it and scaled it down to work for one person as my little one is the only one at home who loves to have this.

This is yet another delightful breakfast for one.

Ingredients -

Bread Slices 2
Milk 1/4 cup
Custard Powder 1 Tbsp
*Cinnamon Sugar 2 tsp
Butter as needed

*Since my little one loves cinnamon I added cinnamon sugar. Plain sugar works just as well.

Method Of Preparation -

In a wide pan (where a bread slice can lay flat), whisk the milk, cinnamon sugar and custard powder until the sugar is dissolved.

Heat a griddle and apply butter to the hot surface.

Quickly dip the bread slice in the custard powder mixture and make sure both the sides of the bread are coated with custard powder solution.

Transfer the bread slice onto the hot griddle. Toast on both sides until they are uniformly brown on both sides.

Repeat with the other slice and serve warm with some more cinnamon sugar or maple syrup with a side of milk and fruit for a filling breakfast/snack.
