Here comes another edition of Blog Hop Wednesdays started by Radhika. This time I was paired with Vidya of Kurryleaves. I hopped onto her space with the intention of finding something to make using Apples. Why Apples, you may ask. A trip to an Apple Orchard the past weekend resulted in a huge basket of apples (at least 50-60 apples which we hand picked from the trees). So our immediate task is to consume all the apples as fast as we can. I have distributed some of them to my neighbors and we are all eating them morning, noon and night :)
Folks at home have already gotten bored of apple juice. So made some Apple Bajjis per my older one's request. (A few more Apple recipes lined up !!) So when I saw this recipe of Apple Carrot Smoothie, I thought I should give it a shot. Guess what? My little one fell in love with this and she is asking for the smoothie everyday :)
Also check out what the fellow blog hoppers have posted today.
Ingredients -
Apple Juice Fresh 1/4 cup (I made it in the juicer)
Carrots Juice Fresh 1/4 cup (I made it in the juicer)
Curds / Yogurt 1/4 cup
Sweetened Mango Pulp 2-3 Tbsp (Or Banana chopped 1/2 cup)
Method Of Preparation -
Blend all the juices and yogurt with a few ice cubes and serve immediately !!
Preparation Time 5 min
Makes about 1 cup
