Here is a simple, healthy yet tasty dry curry for Day 3 of the final week of BM #18.

Carrot-Papaya Curry

Ingredients -

Papaya (raw and green) grated 1 cup

Carrot grated 3/4 cup
Green Chillies Chopped 2-3

Turmeric 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Seasoning (Oil 2 tsp, Chana Dal 1 tsp, Urad Dal 1 tsp, Jeera 1/2 tsp, Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp, Dry Red Chillies 1-2, Curry Leaves few)
Lemon Juice as needed

Method Of Preparation -

Cook Papaya and carrot (al dente) in the microwave or stove top. Squeeze out the extra water, if any and set aside.

In a wok/kadai, add oil and the rest of the seasoning. After mustard seeds pop and the dals are brown, add the papaya and carrot.

Sprinkle turmeric and add the green chillies.

Mix in salt as per taste.

Remove from fire and serve it warm with rice/roti.
