Badam Laddu

A few of us from the Blogging Marathon Group decided that we should throw a surprise baby shower for our dear friend, Sapana of Cookingwithsapanawho is in the family way and in a new country away from family and friends. So each of us have picked one recipe from her blog and recreated at our end and have decided to post it today.

Sapana, here are showers of blessings and best wishes for a healthy baby and a healthy mom !!

Badam Laddu

Recipe Source - here
Ingredients -

Badam/ Almonds 1 cup
Milk 1/2 cup or as needed
Sugar 3/4 cup (adjust as per preference)

Badam Laddu

Method Of Preparation -

Soak almonds over night. Remove the peel and grind to a fine paste adding as much milk as needed.

Add sugar to the paste (which is in the dosa batter consistency) and stir it continuously in a heavy bottomed pan, preferably a non-stick pan.

After about 15 min, the mixture would come together as a single mass.

Remove from fire and pinch small portions of the mixture and roll out into laddus. Garnish with any dry fruits of your choice.

Refrigerate and serve as preferred.
