Today, we start Week 3 of BM#40. I have chosen to blog under the theme 'Mango Mania'. With the mango season upon us, I am sure we can all enjoy some interesting Mango delights.
I am enjoying this delightful mango oatmeal once a week for my breakfast. You can too..
Ingredients -
Rolled Oats 1/2 cup
Milk 1 cup (For Vegan version try Almond Milk)
Almonds 5-6 coarsely crushed (Optional)
Cardamom Powder or Cinnamon Powder 1/8 tsp (I used Cardamom)
Ripe Mango, peeled, seeded and cubed 3/4 cup + more for garnish
Method Of Preparation -
In a wide bowl, cook the oats, almonds, cardamom powder and milk in the microwave for 3 minutes.
Add the mango cubes and cook for 3 more minutes.
Remove and garnish with more mango cubes and enjoy a warm breakfast.
Preparation Time 10 min
Serves 1
