This combination of masala can be used in lot of dishes like Rice sticks upma, Semiya upma, Beans curry, Chikkudukaya koora, Long beans or Barbatti curry. I use this powder for many recipes and would be referencing it quite often for various recipes. Garlic can be omitted if it is not relished. And peanuts can be substituted with roasted chana dal (dhalia), Almonds, Walnuts or a combination of all of them.
Ingredients -
Peanuts 3 Tbsp
Coconut powder 3 Tbsp
Green chillies 2 nos
Coriander leaves few sprigs
Jeera/Cumin 1 tsp
Garlic 2 pods (Optional)
Roast the peanuts and grind all the ingredients to make a coarse, slightly moist powder.
